Introduction

Seoul National Science Museum(SNSM) opened in 1945 with Independence and played an important role to satisfy the curiosity about science and hope to not only many juveniles but grown-ups. It had totally destroyed by fire in 1950 during Korean War and has reconstructed here.
As National Central Science Museum has moved to Daejeon with new building, the existing museum in Seoul reorganized its own functions and renamed to Seoul National Science Museum. There was an office reorganizing as National Gwacheon Science Museum has opened in November 2008. And It has been decided to own our site jointly with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. So Seoul National Science Museum redecorated into specialized exhibition place for Children.
